Size Seven is a UK-based legal consultancy founded in 2024 from a desire to work more flexibly and a passion for legal innovation.
I’ve been in law since 2008 and qualified as a tech & commercial lawyer in 2013. Shortly after this I made the move in-house, working at RBS and Aviva to support their digital transformation journeys. I then joined ITV as Head of Legal for Technology & Broadcast Operations where I was responsible for technology procurement globally.
Following this I pursued an interest in legal innovation and led a team delivering contract review, legal design and legal ops services at TLB, a boutique consultancy. Before becoming a Legal Consultant for TikTok while establishing Size Seven.
I want to challenge typical legal resourcing options: full-time permanent employees, full-time interim consultants, traditional law firms and ALSP outsourcings. Which, depending on the option, can be expensive, time-consuming, difficult, disconnected, inexperienced, inflexible or overkill (see our FAQs for further details).
I’m also keen to support and engage like-minded in-house lawyers that have reached a similar crossroads in their career. No longer driven by climbing the corporate ladder. Wanting more flexibility, control, a better work-life balance and to be more entrepreneurial. Contact me if you want a consultancy gig or fancy a side hustle.
The name is inspired by my late grandfather. He was the lead singer in a 60s band called the Size Seven, and was a big influence on my work ethic and people focus.
